I love this exquisitely crafted daily reminder in my home that our hands have been made to help hold the burdens, and our feet are made to walk in the footsteps of our fellow human beings with love and compassion.
It's not easy to find a good quality depiction of a mallard hen -- most statuettes are of the drake -- perhaps because the markings on the hen are delicate and subtle. The artist has done a wonderful job here, and I'm very happy with it. It occupies an honored place in our home.
This eagle is beautifully carved and looks absolutely fabulous in my eagle collection. I plan to purchase any and all eagles from this craftsman in the future.
