The Balinese artisan's excellent carving skills are evident in the detailed artistry that adorns the Hamsa hand. In Jewish and Muslim traditions, Fatima or Miriam's hand is regarded as a good luck amulet and protector from wrath, catastrophe and jealousy. The black pendant is worn on a black braided leather cord.
