Growing up in rural Guatemala, Domingo Reanda found he had more of an affinity for his family's weaving than farming. Since then, he has worked to expand his creativity into jewelry making, especially with beads and wire. These earrings feature two diamond shaped stainless steel frames with arches of blue glass beads that hang from sterling silver hooks.

Zayd Makarim of Bali crafts two half-hoops of sterling silver, elaborated with his characteristic "Buddha's curl" motifs. From each hoop dangles a square stone of blue chalcedony for a majestic pair of earrings.
