Several days are spent to create this floral batik silk masterpiece. Artisan Yuni Kristina learned the art of Indonesian batik, a UNESCO cultural treasure, from her mother.

An original design by Saktut Raitawati, this beautiful jacket showcases Java's classic batik motifs. The artisan works in gray-blue on black, with matching trim on both sleeves and on the open front for a slimming effect. The batik patterns are created with the silk screen technique.

The beautiful plum dress is decorated with a hand-stamped ash batik print that depicts the beauty of the jasmine flower. In Indonesian traditions, the jasmine is the flower of life and beauty. The sundress features an attractive ruffle design around the elasticated bust and two hidden coconut buttons on the adjustable straps.

Inspired by the legendary elegance of a kimono, Saktut Raitawati designs this original robe. It is adorned with lush rose patterns that are expertly printed with traditional batik techniques. Featuring pockets on both sides, the black robe ties with a wide belt that repeats the floral composition.

This handpainted batik robe is a truly original work of art. Sunlight, water, dye and temperature all factor into the look of the finished robe. This should be considered a unique design made especially for you. Colors and pattern placement will vary.
