Over the years, I have collected many flutes. This one is exceptional. The wood is perfectly suited for its purpose and lovingly crafted. The holes are just the right size and spacing to achieve the notes effortlessly (without having to partially cover one to hit the true pitch). I got two and a half octaves from it right from the start. The tone is resonant and haunting (in the best way). I absolutely love this flute! The bag that comes with it is vibrant and offers good everyday protection.

Value that goes beyond the price tag. Peace to all the artisans who bring the natural beauty of life (unlike the radical "new" electronic toys that even babies are accustomed to). Thank you for bringing joy to the world.

This flute was a gift to our son who isn't inhibited to try playing any musical instrument-the Christmas wrapping hadn't been picked up and he was getting familiar with his new instrument.
