Vishnu is the supreme creator and guardian of the universe, transcending space and time and inspiring many artists throughout history. Balinese artisan Nyoman Rena says he draws inspiration from this powerful deity to create this handcrafted sterling silver pendant necklace with an amethyst stone embellishing a Vishnu image.

"My hope regarding world peace: may all creatures in the world always be in harmony, peaceful horizontally and vertically or what is called the concept of Tri Hita Karana in the teachings of Hinduism. Meanwhile, the reality of the world today is different, it is turning away from our expectations, such as economic war or competition in life which justifies all means and forgets the principles of brotherhood and kinship," says the artisan.

Magnanimous Lord Ganesha bestows blessings of fortune and peace upon his followers in this exquisite sculpture by Wayan Kandiyasa. The lotus flower dais and intricate elephant features are cast from ground stone and natural sands. The final piece has been given a metallic antique finish.

Drawing inspiration from Hindu doctrines that associate the symbol with supreme energies, the artisan creates this pinewood decorative box with traditional leafy and floral motifs, enhancing the item's main theme. Then, after adding the brass fixtures, she paints each detail by hand using a warm palette for an enchanting touch.

The beautiful Buddhist goddess Kwan Im folds her arms and closes her eyes in prayer. By Wayan Rendah, this exquisite portrait is carved by hand from crocodile wood. The reverent image seems to radiate sensations of peace.

Rose quartz beads form this handmade necklace by Thai artisan Tipa. Centering the strand of pink stones, a row of sterling silver flower-shaped beads are clustered with a pendant dangling beneath them. The pendant is a simple disc crafted by the Karen hill tribe, with the om symbol stamped onto it, a reminder of peace and thoughtfulness. The necklace closes with a sterling silver clasp and extender chain.
