A popular pet, the lilac-crowned parrot is a chunky green inhabitant of North America. Mauricio Morales depicts the handsome bird in a ceramic sculpture and carefully paints it by hand before protecting the colors with a coat of wax. The realistic figurine stands on wire legs and the feet can be wrapped around a perch or branch.
