This is another birthday gift for my BFF this year. Since it came gift wrapped I didn't actually see it. My BFF loved it, she was planning on hanging it in front of a window so the chimes could be heard. The gift wrapping is free, the design of the wrapping is unique with a removable design. As with all of my purchases over the last couple of years, the quality and designs are superb . The special touch to all purchases is a little card with a note from the seller on a small card displaying a beautiful location in the country of origin. What first attracted me was the attractive design and I wasn't prepared for the delicate sound that came from the slender metal rods. Each piece was carefully crafted and is a visual treat even when the wind doesn't blow.

Truth: I generally find chimes annoying. However, my daughter loves them so I ordered this for her. It has a lovely sound; especially surprising given its higher pitch. It is well made and beautifully tuned such that even a wind chime curmudgeon like me enjoys it.
