Unique, minimalist, and elegant all at once, Ayu Widiani's band ring is truly a one-of-a-kind find. The artisan centers the ring with a panel of black polyester mesh that adds a textural element, while a smooth, silver-plated brass band creates contrast.

The petroglyphs that decorate the ancient caves of the Armenian region are immortalized by artisan Aram Torunyan in this sublime pair. A minimalist structure, made of sterling silver, composes these drop earrings, whereas brass details crown the pieces with the elegant silhouette of a ram.

Embellished with the sophistication of the minimalist style, these sterling silver drop earrings conquer through elegance and regality. Armenia's Aram Torunyan uses brass to crown the pieces, adding floral motifs that dazzle with a golden hue.

"There is strength in numbers," believes Ghanaian designer Akwele Suma as she designs this necklace. She rolls paper recycled from printed materials, creating a variety of shapes that together form an elegant composition. Suma selects a palette of colors that includes grey, cream, red, orange, purple, green,blue, black and brown. The necklace features sese wood beads and a brass clasp.

The artist uses the paper at hand so paper colors will vary, making each design a unique example of handcrafted art. These beads receive a protective coat of clear nail polish.

Akwele Suma recycles newspapers into earrings of original elegance. She crafts the earrings by hand with a palette of grey, brown, cream, black and golden hues. Trimmed with waxed linen threads, the earrings are adorned with sese wood beads and hang from brass wires.
