Done in abstract style, Abdul Aziz Mohamadu depicts a passionate couple and their child. The couple are represented from the torso up, with their arms linked so closely as to be inseparable. The figure of a child holds them up while seeming to swing from their joined hands. Abdul Aziz Mohamadu, who hand carves the statuette from local sese wood, names the carving after the Yoruba word for "first-born child."

The underworld dresses itself with a romantic and musical aura, the same that surrounds this ceramic sculpture by master artisan Jorge Escamilla. Inspired by tradition and love, Jorge works with classic techniques to create this sublime piece, depicting a couple of Catrines—famous Day of the Dead icons—in a passionate serenade. With one figure wearing a mariachi suit and the other a traditional dress, the hand-painted pieces are joined on a heart-shaped base.
