This is a Christmas gift for my best friend. The photo is accurate. Although It's a pretty noticeable piece, it is also subtle because the colors are so soft and beautiful, so it's wearable even with a delicate summer dress. The craftsmanship is superb. If you have sensitive skin, the cord will be scratchy.

The quality and speckled color are beautiful and the detailed sterling designs on the back are both artfully done and unique. The maíz shapes of each stone are very rich and indigenous in a way that just makes me smile and appreciate my culture. I am sad to have to return because I just could not get it to sit right on my little neck. An average neck would not have this problem so I still give it five stars.
