I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful and functional work of art. I bought this with a Mother's Day gift certificate from my daughter. I needed a jewelry box. I had bought one at a flea market and brought it home. It had a very negative vibe, so I threw the flea market box and all my jewelry out in the trash because of the negative vibe. When I opened this beautiful work of art from Peru, I was astounded by the beauty. Even though I paid $100 for it, I realized it was worth much more. God bless the artisans that create such beauty. I'm so grateful we can help support their work. And a positive vibe too!

I particularly enjoy the way Guillermo and Eduardo portray the nativity figures in the dress of different regions of their country. The characters also wear sweet, beatific expressions that are quite endearing. I actually bought two of this set, and I look forward to using the second as a Christmas gift.
