“Freedom, Functionality, and Beauty”

I recently moved from a house to a condo where neighbors tend to do sweet things like drop off packages, ect. I also work at home so spend some days in my jammies for a good part of the day as I work. I wanted a nice coverup that I could throw on over anything and be completely presentable, something other than a traditional bathrobe. This beautiful, well made, sturdy (not flimsy see-through) bright, classy kimono did the trick! I like it so well that I ordered another one as well as a short one for the summer. Highly recommended.

“A dress with”

I love the color, the patchwork of this beautifully designed summer dress. The fabric is very soft and breezy. I feel great in it. I couldnt decide which color I like better, so I bought both green and blue. Thank you so much for your beautiful work!

Preserving Traditions

For eleven years Desak worked with a batik artisan learning all aspects of the process, from wax painting to dyeing. From her, she learned not only the art of batik and textile design but also how to care for her workers. In her workshop, Desak and the older artisans generously teach their art to the younger artisans, preserving for another generation this UNESCO cultural treasure.
