The petite keepsake box is the creation of Felicita Espinoza of Surco, Peru, who began crafting 20 years ago with her husband and continues today with her daughter Milagros. The box is handcrafted from wood and glass. The motifs are painted on the reverse side of glass panes with a design inspired by the colonial period. The technique results in a wonderful clarity of color.

“A gift fit for a queen”

Such a beautiful painted glass tray. So many potential uses including as a unique dresser vanity tray. I gave this to my beloved godmother. I wanted her to have something as beautiful and special as she is to me. Thank you Felicita for capturing the beautiful and vibrant colors. This tray is not muted as are some of the reverse painted glass items. Thank you for creating this work of art.

“Great Item for a future artist”

This was a Christmas gift for my niece who just graduated with a degree in graphic design. When she opened the gift, she was so taken back by the artwork, and the reverse mirror painting. She loved it!
