Inspired by the designs of Persian carpets, this decorative box brings to mind a formal garden. Niyaz from India creates the box from kail wood, covering it with papier mache before painting it meticulously by hand with poster paints and pigments derived from natural flowers. The pretty box has a lining of copper-colored velvet, so it is just right for holding small but precious treasures.

“Persian Mandala decorative wood box”
