Thai Blue Patterned Cotton Sling with Elephant Shape, "Spirited Elephant"

Saipin Vanichmongkol gives life to a delightful elephant, complete with ears, eyes, trunk, and tail, in this handmade 100% cotton sling. The pachyderm's body has a charming blue and eggshell white diamond pattern; its ears, tail and the bag's strap are Prussian blue. Inside the sling's only compartment is a dark blue cotton lining; a magnetic button snap serves to close the crossbody bag. Saipin's designs also help generate local employment. "I provide work for about 40-50 women who work from home with the materials I give them, that way they can still take care their families," says the Thai artisan.
