Zandra Lorena Sajbin exalts the virtues of aesthetic minimalism, showcasing the beauty of Guatemalan jade. Known as Ya'ax Chich to the ancient Maya, jade was regarded as a sacred symbol of life, fertility and power. The artisan works in sterling silver to create this bold cocktail ring. "I name this design Capella, the sixth brightest star in the sky," she explains.

These earrings arrived yesterday and they are beautiful! I immediately put them on. With the hook closure on the back, they were difficult to unhook. And I had to bend the metal to open it up wider to be able to insert in my ear. Then I had trouble closing the clasp and then opening it again to take off. Im worried that bending the earring every time I wear them will weaken the integrity of the metal and they may break. The metal is very soft and pliable.

I wear this ring often, especially when I will be in an environment where I can network with like-minded souls.
