Representing the Southern Cross, petite chakanas take shape in sterling silver. Set with obsidian, these earrings by Yan Fredy depict an ancient Andean symbol. The chakana is taken from a constellation of stars forming a quadratic square, and represents the universe connected to the center of the world, believed to be Cuzco. “LOVE these earrings!”

I bought these earrings to honor the memory of my husband, who passed 5 years ago. He was my anchor, so I found these to be a fitting tribute.
