Says Balinese artist Made Surita, "A mother with her son are carrying fish caught by her husband. The fish will be cooked for their meals and some of them are also to be sold. That is one role of a mother in a family." He paints this scene in a charming naif style, capturing the duo against a Balinese landscape lush with trees, grasses, and a river.
