From the island of Bali, artisan Komang Sulaksana interprets the old Swedish tradition through his own lens, hand-painting each using pointillism, giving them detail as well as texture. Brightly colored and richly decorated, the stout ornaments will brighten up any tree or mantel. Being social animals, all four horses are best kept together on the Christmas tree.

“Wonderful Horses!”

“Just lovely”

I bought these dala horses as a gift for my daughter. They are beautifully painted and I know shell love them. They arrived in a timely manner and I will definitely shop here again??

“Swedish ornaments gone tropical - how fun!!”

These remind my Dalarna horses from Sweden that they have cousins in warmer places! I love the tropical interpretation of the Scandinavian folk art horses, and will keep these on display year round!
