Sculpture, "Beginning Glyph"

Sculpted in low relief, this Maya glyph represents the beginning of something in time and space. The awakening upon achieving the proper balance between the external and internal, it channels energy to the task at hand. When placed before numbers, it indicates the beginning of what transpires in the following 24 hours. Elisa Camarena crafts the piece with resin and presents it on a pinewood base.
