With music in their souls, two women pound out African rhythms on tall drums. Joseph Kobina Prah depicts them with elongated legs and stylized bodies, suggesting a sense of power conferred by music. "Music serves as food for the soul," the Ghanaian artist says. "Music played well is joyous to the heart."
