Original Contemporary African Painting of Man with Saxophone, "Jazz to You"

This colorful and original painting is by Nii Teiko Aryeetey in Ghana. He refers to his style of painting as "Linenism"; the idea came to him from watching streaks of rain water as they were blown into slanted lines by the wind. In this composition, a lone saxophonist creates beautiful melodies; their rhythms seem to reverberate within the vertical lines.
