After a long process of cutting oak wood and polishing the surfaces, Mexican artisan Carlos Torres adds a coat of glossy varnish to bring to life this gorgeous barrel-shaped decanter. It can be a great decoration but is also perfect for storing alcohol in the traditional hacienda style. This barrel decanter can hold up to 67 ounces, has a wood base for display and dispenses liquid through the little spigot.

Fill with water for 6 hours and then drain before filling with wine or liquor to prevent it from leaking.

“I love this mug!”

I love this mug so much, I ordered three more! The metal inside keeps my drinks cold for quite a while after any ice has melted. Although I prefer this design shape to the other one available, I would venture that the other one also has the same properties because its made of the same materials. Im hoping that the artisan might make more of this shape because Id like to eventually have a larger set, but for now I will enjoy the ones I have.

“Upcycled Iron and Wood Bookends”

My great grandparents immigrated from Ireland to America because of the potato famine in the mid-nineteenth century. My father worked as a railroad engineer early in his career. He would have liked these iron bookends upcycled from railroad spikes. Bravo!

“My new Patio table!”

I was so surprised when my beautiful oak folding table arrived! I had no idea it would be so sturdy and much bigger than I imagined! It is heavy duty and Im sure will last a lifetime. And smooth rich solid oak, with a lovely light glaze. So well made , beautiful and durable! It is way more value for the price , just so happy with it!
