Mixed Media Oneiric Painting of A Man Falling, "The Fall"

A nude man seems to have fallen to Earth from another planet. Or he may be a fallen angel whose feathers are scattered all around him. It is up to the beholder to create the backstory of this oneiric, expressionist-style scene by El Salvador's Jorge Alberto Merino, crafted with ink and coffee wash on canvas and part of his "Caffeine" series. "This artwork represents the beauty that exists in all human beings. We are perfect in our imperfections. We are all different and unique," he says.
