In the highlands of Southern Mexico, nature provides a panorama of festive color. They are recreated in a handwoven scarf by Petrona Perez and the Women Artisans Association. Blue and beige combine and contrast with brown and sage green. The square features tassels on opposite corners and is meant to be folded diagonally, while woven strips alternate with unwoven vertical threads so that the fabric drapes gracefully.

I purchased this to gift my neice this comming Christmas. This is beyond what I imagined it to be. The craftmanship, creativity, material, vibrant colors and design make this a true work of art. I am really thinking about ordering several more to gift this holiday season. Kudos to the artist.
