Icelandic sigils were used by Vikings to protect themselves in times of trouble or to invite positive energies into their adventures. Fascinated by these unique symbols, Balinese artisan Made Wardika handcrafts a leather cord necklace with a cow bone pendant featuring a Vegvísir or Viking Compass sign, believed to help the traveler find their way. On top of that, the accessory has sterling silver accents for a luminous look.

I bought these as a Christmas gift for my sister. They are just as pictured and beautifully made. She loves handmade items that are more Boho looking and these are sure to delight her! The length is perfect. Would definitely purchase again.

I just love the owl and what it stands for. This is an amazingly delicate pendant for the carving to be so detailed. When not wearing, I keep it hanging in my car.

The pendant is wonderfully made. The first thing I noticed about the octopus was some of its tenticles were balanced on its head. I loved that because it made it more friendly looking than menacing. I was so excited to receive it.
