Details

Colorful and unique, these masks by Marcilio Barroco are inspired by Columbina, from the Commedia dell'Arte . She is a comic servant and Pierrot's lover, dressed in ragged and patched dress, wore heavy eye make-up and carried a tambourine to fend off Pantalone's amorous advances. Barroco prepares a set of seven different masks, each expertly crafted of leather and painted by hand. They feature cotton bands for wearing.

Just as described!”

I purchased this as a gift to folks who love original folk art and contemporary crafts. They have it hanging on a wall with other art pieces and it looks fabulous.
