Representing the Mayan glyph for the fish, Tijax, is etched by hand into a medallion of dark green Guatemalan jade. Zandra Lorena Sajbin designs this stunning pendant necklace, inspired by the beauty of jade and the significance of pre-Hispanic glyphs. The pendant centers a length of adjustable cotton cord, and features the Nahual name "Tijax" inscribed on the reverse side.

I love this ring - very simple and beautiful and meticulously made. I visited Guatemala quite a few years ago, and this ring brings back many wonderful memories of those trips.

I had my eye on this piece for awhile. It did not disappoint. The jade is a deep green and the setting complements it so well.
