Male and female faces appear on the legs of a unique African accent table. "They represent keeping gender balance in all aspects of human activities," says Ghanaian artisan George Obeng. "This is for harmony. Figures of males and females found in our shrines represent the two main powers of the universe." The table is crafted by hand of sese wood and finished in black and brown.

I love these antelope wooden sculptures. Very beautiful and well done. Unfortunately the gift recipients were not as enthused. It may have been a bit exotic for them though I loved them and thought they were a good statement for celebrating a wedding anniversary.
