By Joycelyn Sena Zigah, these beautiful earrings interpret a Ghanaian adinkra symbol, which communicate sayings and concepts through images. "This is Nkyinkim, she explains. "It literally means to twist or turn oneself around. It is a symbol of initiative, dynamism and versatility. It signifies the ability to withstand difficulties and play many roles in life. This symbol encourages one to endure hardships and be committed to duties." She works in polished sterling silver.

I am recently saved and had been looking for my lifetime devotional cross to wear. I had purchased a couple other items from Mexican artists in silver from NOVICA. I did not create an account at that time. I loved this immediately on arrival!!! Thank you so much for your well considered creativity in the integration of the adinkra. I will wear it all my days. Regards, Timothy Timber Sewell

I love the detail in this ring. Mrs Zigah is an excellent silversmith. I wish she would make match earrings, necklace and bracelet cuff with this same design.
