Handcrafted Sese Wood African Wall Mask from Ghana, "Powerful Friends"

Handcrafted out of sese wood, this striking wall mask is designed by Kwasi George of Ghana. Above the mask's head are carved three faces, leading the artisan to call the mask Tikoro Nko Agyina, which means "two heads are better than one" in the Akan language. Below the mask's chin, the artisan carves the Adinkra symbol Gye Nyame, the symbol for the supremacy of God.
