Artisan Alessandra Foletti of Honduras handcrafts the bracelet with ceramic beads she sources locally from Lenca communities. Using the time-honored burnishing techniques of their ancestors, in which the clay is polished before each round of firing, the Lenca create ceramic beads with extraordinary luster. The beads are strung on a grey faux leather cord that can be adjusted to the desired length.
