Designed and hand-carved out of sese wood and aluminum by artisan Daniel Quarcoo of Ghana, this mask is festively adorned with bright colors and a variety of patterns. On the mask's forehead is the Adinkra symbol for unity that reminds us that unity lies in strength and community. The artisan names the mask Morkporkpor, which means "one who makes a way" in the Ewe language.

Meticulously crafted. This is a beautiful piece of art for my collection and is also the right size and design for my Christmas cultural decor. However it is smaller than expected because the stand is included in the stated measurement.

It really is made with love and care and that is evident. The super tiny dots painted on the face have been carefully placed and meticulously plotted out. I give full credit to this artist and the patience put into putting out this beautiful piece of work!
