Hand-Embroidered Patchwork Ottoman Footstool, "Purple Patches"

Dedicated to keeping India's craft traditions alive, designer Ganpat Mehta works with women artisans in Rajasthan who embroider upcycled swaths of cotton fabric. These become the patchwork of textural upholstery on this sturdy footstool. The hand-carved acacia wood legs are removable for easy storage or transport, while brass rivets and hand-embroidered kantha stitching add welcome details. The stool will vary due to patchwork design but overall color scheme will be consistent.
