I like this piece, however mine is not painted as in the photograph, and that is very disappointing. I wonder if something happened to my piece, because the picture is very misleading.

This is a fabulous piece for any home....the history is fascinating as well---workmanship is wonderful and love the size---big enough to use in so many different environments.
