With a long, colorful tail–longer than the bird itself–this creation by Raul Vinelli could not be more Brazilian. The blue macaw is known in Brazil as the arara, and takes its name from its hoarse call, "arrarrar!" Sculpted of pinewood and liana vine, this delightful work is a constant reminder of the rich avian life sheltered by the rainforest.
Because each piece is an original sculpture, there may be slight variations from that pictured.

While pretty and colorful, it was an assembly required bird. It was not super stable when assembled.
