Who says accessories can't tell a story? This wrap bracelet speaks volumes, meticulously crafted by the artisans at Guatemala's Weaving Hands. Glass beads march across nylon cords in a choreographed display of color and texture, each bead woven in special looms with the precision of a master artist. The Tibetan-style pewter button serves as an exclamation point, transforming this bracelet from simple jewelry to a conversation-starting work of art.

The colors of this bracelet (at least, the one I received) are not remotely as bright or deep or nuanced as those in the bracelet shown in the photo. The whole point for me was--a vivid (not over the top, but colorful) turquoise and amber !, rich, contrasting colors. Nope--bland, pale, faded. I kept the bracelet out of respect for Novicas mission, but I think Im done with Novica. A second turquoise wrap bracelet I bought from Novica broke after 3 wearings (and I returned it, feeling horrible, so I bought this one, instead). I even tried a third one that I am giving as a gift. I think my support for Novica is exhausted.
