Fida Hussain crafts a delightfully chirpy parrot box using papier mache and techniques passed down to him by his father in India. This pretty bird is hand-painted in lush shades of green with a red beak and has a playful, red-speckled face.

I didnt buy this for three years. Looked cute, but paper mache? Well, I finally took it off my wish list and purchased! Why did I wait?!!! Its absolutely incredible! I have it near my bed, so I can see it when I wake up. I like it that much! TY Fida Hussain for a beautiful parrot that holds my rings and brightens my world!

I recall my friend from India gave me an elephant decor when I moved away. I certainly can imagine these ornaments as symbolic of carrying one of the wise men that Christians celebrate at Epiphany (January 6).
