Carved from pinewood, this petite wall plaque shares imagery from the Christian faith. It is inspired by the Sacred Heart. A symbol of Christ's love for man, the Sacred Heart was first venerated in 11th-century monasteries. Metal inlays depict white roses with golden edges — the rose is thought to be the favorite flower of the Virgin Mary, while white roses as symbols of her joys. Jaime Hernandez crafts the reverent wall sculpture by hand.

“10 perfect little works of art”

I love these doves! The ones I received are even more beautiful than the ones pictured. Each one a work of art - each one unique. I had a hard time parting with these. I turned them into individual ornaments to give as gifts to the DayCare staff at the church I attend (for Teacher Appreciation Week). They LOVED their gifts.
