Rita Addo Zakour refers to this handsome fella as a dekapui or "gentleman" in the language of the Ewe people. The sese wood sculpture is carved by hand portraying the young man with a long neck looking sideways. His black headdress features blue accents and his sleeveless top is adorned with traditional patterns. The handcrafted sculpture is finished with painted accents and white clay.
