Margarita and Martha transform dried mate gourds into six cheerful owls. One of the oldest handicrafts in the Andes, the gourds are engraved by hand. Colorful Santa Claus hats crown each one.
The natural shape of the gourd dictates size and shape, so slight variations should be expected.

My husband and I loved the Peruvian folk art Christmas decorations!!. I was born in Chiclayo, Peru (Coast) and now I live in Florida (USA) and this year I wanted to decorate our Christmas tree with ornaments and colors from the Andes of Peru. We thank you for the outstanding details, such as the beautiful packaging, just like a Christmas gift, as well as the sweet postcard. Have a HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

These are such special ornaments! So different than what one can get at a big-box store. They make me want to leave my Christmas tree up all year long!
