In a solid saffron color, strips of leather are used to carefully braid this necklace by hand. Ghanaian artisan Ila Suleyman creates the accessory, which features a wider section at the center that tapers the closer it gets to the button clasp. This necklace is named Mpusia, meaning "thank you" in northern Ghanaian.

This is a quality piece. Tightly woven. So unusual. I love it.

I get compliments on this necklace almost each time I wear it. Matches my wardrobe palette of rust, black and brown. Love that it is chunky enough to be seen without being too big. Thank you, Ila Suleyman! - Laurie, Los Angeles
