A shorebird with black and white feathers as well as a long beak, the black-necked stilt is a common sight along American coastlines. Balinese artisan Nengah Sudarsana creates this decorative accent, carved from albesia wood into the species's likeness and given a hand-painted finish in black and white. This accent is displayed atop an iron rod and a whitewashed base of suar wood.

I bought this beautiful bird to go in my beach themed kitchen. It is very realistic and finely detailed. I find it peaceful and relaxing to look at. Im very happy with my purchase and would love more beach creatures to add to my collection. I look forward to new creations from this artist. - Thanks!

My coworker is a fisherman and she also loves saving the turtles in Florida. This was the best gift she d received, and it was as if I gave her the world. The craftsmanship was perfect, and as always made with lots of precision and Care.
