Resembling a traditional African throne stool, this Ghanaian wall mirror makes a characteristic addition to any home. Artisan Winfred Korley crafts the frame by hand of local sese wood, accenting it with etched motifs and a multicolored antique finish. Korley names the mirror Odo Hemaa, an Akan phrase meaning "love queen."

Beautiful piece of functional art. It is displayed in my entry hall, with African artifacts I have collected over the years, and never fails to elicit comments from people entering my home. I love that it doesnt really look too new, so it fits in with the theme of older items. Too, the size is perfect.
