Also called "angel necklaces" and "harmony balls," Such necklaces are often worn by pregnant women in Bali and also in Mexico. The chain lets the pendant reach to the belly and the delicate sounds are thought to soothe the mother and the baby she is carrying. Some believe it summons a guardian angel, thus making it a symbol of loving protection.

“Lovely necklace!”

I lost a harmony ball necklace that was a gift from my mother, and missed the jingling it did; while I cant actually replace it, I wanted another one to be like a memory of the old one, that held such beautiful memories attached to it. The sound from this one is beautiful, and the necklace is very pretty, but very dainty and tiny. It was much smaller than I had expected, the picture is kind of deceiving. I should have checked the measurements listed more closely. I still like it very, very much though, just wish they would show comparison sizing on all items and not just a few of them.

“Very pretty, but arrived with gold/brown stains”

The earrings are very pretty — bright silve with a glowing pearl in the center. However, mine arrived with a defect: there are gold/brown stains on the silver, possibly accidental gold spray? The earrings could also be more ergonomically designed by having the stud post in the center, or at least closer to the center of the earrings, instead of being placed at the very edge of the petal, which makes them hang in a less attractive way and feels not very sturdy or comfortable.
