Artisan Crafted Barro Negro Wall Cross from Mexico, "Oaxacan Faith"

A beautiful way to express your Christian faith, this ceramic wall cross is created by Fernando and Magali Pedro in Mexico. They work in the traditional Oaxacan art form called barro negro or "black clay". The dark color and slightly metallic sheen are achieved by polishing the clay's surface with a quartz stone before the cross is fired in the kiln.
