Prince Amartey designs an original mask which he names Appenteng. "I've always loved this name for a boy used by the Akuapem people from the Akan culture," explains the master carver. Carved by hand from sese wood, the handsome mask is exquisitely adorned with embossed aluminum plates and painted details.

This is an impressive mask. The only negative feedback I have is that the colors contrast in the picture are not what the mask shows. The colors or shades in the mask are very faded and almost without contrast. That is why I gave it a 3-star rating. But still, it is a nice mask to have on your wall.
