Hand-carved from a single piece of sese wood that is given an amber brown finish, this African mask is created by Ghanaian artisan Abdul Aziz Mohamadu. He decorates the forehead with a brass accent and star-shaped patterns, and beads the cheeks by hand with pieces of recycled glass. This mask is named Esbuna, which means "be happy" in the Igbo language of Nigeria.
