Ghanaian artisan Abdulai Osman Adam crafts this African mask of sese wood covered with embossed aluminum sheet. Petite beads of recycled glass and brass eyes complete the design. Black and white in color, the mask is crafted in the Ngil masquerade style of the Fang tribe. Ngil masks are worn by Fang men during certain ceremonies held to welcome new members, as well as to bring criminals to justice.

Gift for son, he absolutely loves it as this is his first mask of many to cover his wall... I say, it is well made and beautifully crafted and would definitely buy again for myself.

For years my son and I used a single musical note as a symbol between the two of us. Finding this was such a treat. It was a perfect gift for him and designed in such a way that it was masculine enough.
